How can I be successful on YouTube?

How can I be successful on YouTube? it's the most important to make and upload high quality original videos, there are some necessary steps you should follow for making a successful channel.
Step 1 - It’s the most important to select right topics and planning the video
First you need to selected a specific topic, once you have some topic ideas in mind, I recommend doing some additional keyword research to validate the demand for those topics. The higher the popularity and search volume there is for your topic, the higher the potential for organic traffic to your video.
please remember, Inspired content is the kind the viewers want , regardless of the niche because no matter how much support you are getting from paid advertisement , your efforts are futile if viewers does not find it compelling .
To get the most out of your content , you have to determine your audience . Create the kind of quality that revolves around them . Know what they want , and you will know what you have to generate .
Exciting content does not have to come from you all the time . There will come a time when ideas escape you . If you are having a hard time coming up with one , you can scroll through the comments section .
It is a pool of many ideas . If not, engage the viewers to leave ideas because that is one of the ways how to get the most views on YouTube – creating content that your viewers suggest , because that means , that is something would be interested in .
Step 2 - Choosing the right software
There are many online video editor, but it would be great to have your own software so you have more freedom to modify your video to your liking. As a 10-years YouTuber, I generally use YouTube Movie Maker for all editing, and Adobe After Effect for some advanced special effects(rarely). YouTube Movie Maker is an unique and user-friendly video/audio editing software made specifically for YouTube, provides user-friendly features, made to be used by any YouTubers.
Step 3 - Editing video and audio
the purpose of this step is to optimize what your viewers see and hear, you need to edit your source video footage and audio, you'll do things like remove unwanted content, trim video image, add graphics, adjust color, add amazing background music, etc. and please note, The audio quality of your videos should not be taken lightly. Poor audio quality really detracts from someone's viewing experience.
Step 4 - Add texts and subtitles
It's better to use texts and subtitles in the video to keep your viewers engrossed till the end.
Step 6 - Adding an Video Intro and Outro
if you don't want to loose your target audience. You need to introduce the topic you are going to cover in your video as quickly as possible at the beginning of the video. And give your viewers something to do at the end of the video, ask them to share your video, subscribe to your channel, access your website, leave a comment, etc. Never leave a viewer without a specific next step to take.
Step 7 - Save the video
please remember, once you completed your video project, you’ll have to save your video as a MP4 video file within YouTube Movie Maker, and include your main keywords for the video in the file name. This can help your video rank higher in search results for your main keywords.
Step 8 - Publish video to YouTube
Now, your video is ready for publishing, it's time to upload it to your YouTube channel.
You must give your video a compelling title, description and tags that includes the main keyword that you chose for your video. that can help your video to attract organic traffic by ranking the search results for their respective keywords/topics.
and choose carefully your thumbnail, the thumbnails you select for each video are more important than you think. It’s the first thing people will see when they search for your videos, so it needs to have the “click-worthy” value.
In other words, make it appealing. YouTube automatically gives you three thumbnail options to choose from when you upload a video, but if you feel you need something catchier, you’d better customize and upload a very attractive thumbnail, that can help entice potential viewers to click on your video.
Step 9 - Promote the YouTube video
In the long-run, the goal of your videos is to attract organic traffic by ranking the search results for their respective keywords/topics. To give your videos the best chance of consistently attracting new viewers on a long-term basis, promoting your videos as soon as they are published helps give them an initial boost of traction, which helps encourage YouTube to rank your video higher than competing videos. so you need to share your video on all your network, your websites, facebook, twitter, Instagram, blog, vlog, etc.
  • You need to niche down. What are you good at? What do you want your channel to be about? I chose iOS development and I’ve branched a bit into app design as well. Once you have a firm subscriber base of, let’s say, 20,000 subscribers (a lot, I know, but that’s just a number out of a hat), then you can branch off into things that are a bit off topic because many people will get to like youand not just your particular topic/niche.
  • Upload consistently. Whether that be every day or once a week, if you wish to grow you must upload videos! Good videos at that. I’d rather watch a quality video once a week, than a poor video every day. Many say set a schedule. Meaning, upload every Wednesday at 10am. That’s generally when I upload, but I’ll sometimes upload another video during the week. Or miss a week altogether, which is bad practice (pesky finals).
  • Don’t do it for the money. If you’re just in YouTube for the money, you most likely won’t last unless you understand you won’t make much for 3 years or so. Don’t get me wrong, I’m looking to have YouTube be the center of my full-time job instead of just a side hustle, but I know what it takes to get there and I really enjoy the journey.
  • This is one that most don’t really mention. Don’t focus on what you can’t control. Meaning, you can control how many videos you upload to your channel and their quality. You can control the SEO you put into each video and how catchy the title and thumbnail is. You can’t control your amount of subscribers or the amount of views you receive. Of course you want to use certain statistics like video views and adjust your SEO, title, thumbnail, and marketing if you think that can be improved.
  • Current Events within your niche. So this one got one of my videos 45,000 views within 3–4 days. I made a video regarding accessories for the new Macbook Pro. So if there’s something current in your niche, make a video about it and it just may pop up in the suggested side of another video.
Hope this helped :)
